Unicron Prototype

0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

Description

Pictures is a Transformers Armada Unicron.  This toy, though, is a special prototype of the toy.  It came from China before the official release and features some hand painted toes as well as some more crude features than the final toy.  Colors are cool and unique.

Unicron

Measuring approximately 16” tall, this Unicron was a pre-production Armada Supreme Class Unicron. Accompanied by six missiles and a larger chest-borne missile, Unicron transforms from an imposing ring-haloed planet mode with mandible-activated maw into a demon-winged robot mode outfitted with ports sufficient to accommodate some thirty-odd Mini-Cons; spring-loaded missile launchers are Mini-Con-activated features. Though the planet-devouring Unicron was initially introduced in Transformers: The Movie, in which he ultimately posed a ghastly threat to Autobots and Decepticons alike, he originated with universal creation in which culmination he was divided from his benevolent brother, Primus. Whereas Primus embraced exploratory transit and altruistic creation, Unicron embraced conquest and ravening destruction. Physically, Unicron has been destroyed on more than one occasion, but the essence of Unicron is eternal, surviving, biding its time, waiting for the opportunity to manifest itself again. Towards this end, Unicron frequently employs destructive Heralds or other agents to generate the necessary energon and ultimately pave the way for his cataclysmic return.
