Powered Convoy
Description
Powered Convoy is the first rendition of what U.S. collectors commonly know as Ultra Magnus. The G1 Ultra was in fact a borrowed toy from the Japanese only Diaclone line. Powered Convoy, though, has a unique set of longer head horns (unsafe for the U.S.) and also a primitive car robot for the trailer.
Box graphics on the back are drool inducing, you can see the other "awesome" 80's toys and drivers. Of course the drivers with magnetic feet never made it to the U.S. Transformers Line.
Collectors note shading variations and metallic flecks in the blue trailer. Also it and the toy will have a unique Japanese stamp in the plastic. U.S. toys had Hasbro marked in.
