Sun Vulcan DX

Sun Vulcan ca. 1981 is one of the earlier Sentai series robots from Bandai.  This particular toy was made in Japan for the Godaikin line.  Bandai America did the branding.

The earliest toys were made in Japan for the sub brand Popy Toys, a sub company of Bandai.

The chest transforms to a triangular ship and the legs form a space age crane.  Requisite missiles fire from the legs, shoulders, and arms.
